Meet your Instructors:
Lauren BrennerÂ
Lauren is a local artist who has been creating since 2011. After taking Metalsmithing and Advanced Metalsmithing courses at the local Community College Lauren fell in love immediately. She loves the design aspect of creating pieces. Using all the fun tools especially creating hot connections with the torch. Seeing her designs come to fruition is so rewarding. She would like you to know…
“Once you learn the basics, there are countless ways to go about achieving a design. There are so many levels of decoration and specialties one can focus on. I’m excited to teach and hopefully ignite a passion for future metal smiths alike.”
Lilly Parker
Lilly, a Portland-based Metalsmith, is known for crafting one-of-a-kind jewelry. Since 2012, she’s been honing her skills and bringing her unique vision to life through techniques like lost wax casting, hand fabrication, stone setting, and even woodworking. Inspired by nature and personal expression, Lilly’s pieces are more than just jewelry—they’re wearable art. In a world of mass production, she’s dedicated to keeping the tradition of handmade craftsmanship alive. She would like you to know…
“you're not just wearing jewelry—you're carrying a piece of her artistic journey with you.”
